Dr. Mark Pitcher is a board-certified sports chiropractor, and exercise physiologist, in Vail, Colorado.
He holds a Masters of Science in Exercise Physiology from Memorial University of Newfoundland where his research focus was applied muscle physiology in the lumbar spine. He has published his research in the journals "Applied Physiology Nutrition and Metabolism" and 'Journal of Sports Science and Medicine '",
Dr. Pitcher lectures on health and fitness. He has lectured locally, nationally, and internationally teaching workshops, and seminars. He has taught college and university level courses in joint mechanics, human factors, occupational ergonomics, and sports biomechanics. He currently teaches professional education courses for TRX all over the country.

Dr. Pitcher treats patients both on and off the field. He treats all level athletes: high school and college athletes, weekend warriors, and Olympic and Pro athletes.
Dr. Pitcher was the medical director for USA climbing at the 2013 World Youth Climbing Championships and has been the chiropractor for athletic events such as the Mountain Dew Action Sports Tour, Honda Sessions, and Gravity Games. And with Vail Integrative Medical Group was official sports chiropractors for the Vail International Dance Festival, and Ski and Snowboard Club Vail.

He now uses the best diagnostic and assessment tools from medicine, chiropractic, and fitness to not just diagnose the condition, but get to the underlying root of the problem.
